Attorney Sid Gilreath Awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award

We’d like to extend a big congratulations to our firm’s founding partner, Sid Gilreath!

The Tennessee Association for Justice recently awarded Sid Gilreath the Lifetime Achievement Award for his remarkable contributions and achievements throughout his legal career. Sid Gilreath is the founding partner of Gilreath & Associates and has helped thousands of clients receive compensation for personal injury, products liability and medical malpractice.

Sid Gilreath is a native Tennessean, received his Bachelor’s degree from Maryville College in 1958, and received his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1962. When he’s not devoting his time to his work and involvement, he enjoys flying and logging hours in his plane.

“Being a pilot made me a better lawyer,” Gilreath says. “Flying requires discipline, organization, and the ability to plan ahead. “

The list of his accomplishments and involvements could go on for pages, but in short, he has held leadership positions in the prestigious Tennessee Association for Justice, American Board of Trial Advocates, and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (to name a few). As if that’s not enough, Gilreath’s knowledge and experience extends to the next generation of lawyers as an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee, College of Law.

Sid Gilreath is truly a remarkable man, and we think the Tennessee Association for Justice could not have found a more deserving candidate for this achievement than him.
